Description

Milton Complete Protection Sterilising Fluid is used to sterilise breast feeding equipment and all babies feeding utensils, including bottles, soothers, teething rings, small plastic toys and weaning items.

The Milton Sterilising Fluid allows you to sterilise in 15 minutes. Milton has been sterilising babies utensils for over 50 years and is clinically proven to protect against all germs. Effective on Coronavirus and Rotavirus.

Anti-germ activity

  • Kills 99.9% of germs including bacteria, fungi and viruses.
  • Effective on Rotavirus (N°1 cause for gastroenteritis), MRSA and the swine flu virus.

Proofs of efficacy according to European norms

  • Bactericidal: in 5 minutes EN1040, EN1276 (including MRSA), EN 14561 and at 1.8% V/V EN13697.
  • Fungicidal: in 15 minutes EN1275, EN 1650 and EN14562 on Candida albicans (agent responsible for thrush).
  • Virucidal: in 15 minutes NF T72-180. Effective on Rotavirus and Coronavirus.

How to Use The Cold Water Method

1 Clean: Wash bottle, teats, breastfeeding equipment in warm soapy water, then rinse in cold water.

2 Prepare Solution: Fill your unit with 5L of water, add 1 cap of Fluid. (30ml dilution at (0.6%v.v).

3 Add Items: Close the lid. Submerge items under water. In just 15 mins everything is ready to use. No need to rinse with water. Items can stay in the solution until needed. Renew the solution every 24 hours.

Use this method to disinfect fruit & vegetables but rinse.

For surfaces, use 3 caps (90 ml dilution at 1.8 v/v) for 5L of water.

Milton method, instructions: For baby bottles and utensils, add 1/2 capful (15ml) of Milton Fluid for every 2.5 litres of water (dilution at 0.6% V/V). Wash bottles and utensils before immersing items in the solution. They are disinfected and ready to use after 15 minutes. It is not necessary to rinse. Renew the solution after 24 hours. Follow the same method to disinfect fruit, salads and vegetables. Rinse with plenty of water after soaking for 15 minutes in the solution. For kitchen surfaces dilute 6 half caps (6 x 15ml) of Milton Fluid in 5 litres of water (dilution at 1.8% V/V). Surfaces are disinfected after 15 minutes. It is not necessary to rinse.

Warnings

Avoid prolonged contact with metal.

Avoid contact with eyes, in the event of contact, rinse eyes with warm water.

Do not inhale.

Do not use in combination with other products as toxic gases may be released (chlorine).

Milton may discolour fabric on contact.

To open child safe cap, push tabs and unscrew. To re-seal, turn cap clockwise until a click is heard. Take care not to over-tighten.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
