Lamisil AT Cream 7.5g
Lamisil AT Cream soothes while treating your infection. Here you'll find information about how its formula works - and how to use it to fight your athlete's foot.
Athlete's foot requires an antifungal agent to treat it. Lamisil® AT Cream's active ingredient - the fungicide terbinafine - fights the infection by preventing further growth of the fungus, and then killing it off.
Lamisil® AT Cream's gentle formula also cares for irritated skin caused by the infection, so you treat your athlete's foot and get added relief of symptoms like itching and burning.
Flexible application is also a plus: you can apply Lamisil® AT Cream directly to the areas needing treatment. And since it contains no alcohol, the cream won't dry out your already sensitive feet.
To begin treating your athlete's foot, wash your feet with warm water and a mild soap.
Afterwards, dry them off gently. Put a small amount of Lamisil® AT Cream on your finger.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected areas on one foot and to the immediately surrounding areas.
Repeat this procedure on the other foot - even if you only have symptoms on one.
For the simple kind of athlete's foot that occurs between the toes, you need to apply Lamisil® AT Cream once a day for one week.
Remember to thoroughly wash your hands after applying treatment - this way you avoid infecting another part of your body with the fungus.
Most people don't experience any side effects. Rarely, someone might be allergic to an active ingredient.
In case you experience allergic reaction, wash with plenty of water or use surgical spirit to remove the cream from your feet. Then wash and dry them and contact your doctor.
If you think the product is irritating or drying out your skin, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Lamisil AT cream, then you should not use this product. If you are worried or concerned about using Lamisil AT cream, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Lamisil AT cream contains the active ingredient Terbinafine. Terbinafine is excreted in breast milk, and therefore mothers should not receive Lamisil AT 1% Cream whilst breast-feeding. Infants should also not be allowed to come into contact with any treated skin, including the breast.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
