As a family owned Pharmacy business, we are proud to be taking part in the new Government Kickstart scheme to support the local communities we operate in.

The Governments Kickstart scheme offers successful applicants a six-month placement for individuals aged 16-24 who are current unemployed to gain work experience.

A career in pharmacy is hugely rewarding; we speak from experience! That’s why here at Weldricks, we have created a training package for our Kickstart colleagues to build the knowledge, skills and behaviours, along with on the job training, needed in the healthcare sector. Our newly created opportunities are working 25 hours per week, within roles in our Branch Service Centre. There are opportunities to join us in our Human Resources, Buying, Accounts and Marketing departments, but if you prefer we also have opportunities within our busy community pharmacies where you will work alongside our professional pharmacy teams.

No matter which type of role peaks your interest, we know you will gain knowledge within our business and the wider pharmacy sector whilst acquiring employment skills which will help you throughout your career. You never know; if you like us, you might even choose to move into any available roles we might have at the end of your placement; we are regularly on the look out for talented individuals.
