Aciclovir cream is used in the treatment of cold sores. Once a cold sore has appeared, treatment with Aciclovir cream can accelerate the healing process.
The active substance in Aciclovir cream is Aciclovir. Aciclovir is an antiviral agent that has been shown to be effective in treating infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, such as cold sores.
Apply a thin film of cream to the affected area five times a day at intervals of approximately 4 hours for at least four days omitting the night time applications.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Use this medicine only on your skin.
Do not use in the eyes or on genitals.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Aciclovir 5% w/w.
Also contains: Stearoyl Macrogolglycerides, Dimeticone, Cetyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, White Soft Paraffin, Propylene Glycol and Purified Water.
