Adults and children aged 16 years and over:

• Empty the contents of one sachet of Beechams Cold & Flu Hot Blackcurrant Pack of 5 into a mug.
• Half-fill the mug with very hot water.
• Stir well until dissolved.
• Add cold water as necessary to achieve your preferred drinking temperature.
• Sugar may be added if desired.

Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve your symptoms. Take one sachet every 4 hours as needed.

Important Warnings for Beechams Cold & Flu Hot Blackcurrant Pack of 5:

• Do not exceed recommended dose: Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours, and do not take more than 6 sachets in 24 hours. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious harm to your liver.
• Age Restriction: Do not give to children under 16 years.
• Duration of Use: Do not take for more than 7 days without asking your doctor.
• Do not take if:
  • You have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, or any of the other ingredients (listed in the ingredients section).
  • You have kidney or liver problems, overactive thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart/circulation disease.
  • You have an enlarged prostate, phaeochromocytoma, or glaucoma.
  • You are taking tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., imipramine or amitriptyline) or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) (e.g., moclobemide) within the last two weeks for depression.
  • You are taking beta-blockers.
• Avoid other medications: Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine. Do not take with any other flu, cold, or decongestant product.
• Consult your doctor before use if:
  • You have a blood vessel disease such as Raynaud's Phenomenon.
  • You have diabetes mellitus (each dose contains 4g of sucrose).
  • You are on a controlled-sodium diet (each dose contains 0.17g of sodium, equivalent to 7% of recommended maximum daily dietary intake for an adult).
  • You have liver or kidney problems.
  • You have an intolerance to some sugars.
  • You are taking flucloxacillin (an antibiotic) due to a serious risk of blood and fluid abnormality (metabolic acidosis).
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
• Possible Side Effects: This product may cause dizziness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. It contains sulfur dioxide, which may rarely cause severe hypersensitivity reactions and bronchospasm.
• Stop taking immediately and seek medical advice if you experience: Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, swelling of mouth/face, shortness of breath), skin peeling or mouth ulcers, breathing problems, unexplained bruising or bleeding, recurring fevers or infections, nausea, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite, yellowing of eyes/skin, visual disturbances, unusually fast/irregular pulse rate, or difficulty passing water.
• If your symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
• Store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
