Pharmacist Manager - Goldthorpe Centre

Our Goldthorpe Centre branch is part of a large medical centre, and can be located to the left of the building near the entrance, and they have good working relationships with the doctors who practice here.  Surrounding the branch is a large residential area and an industrial estate, and all local amenities are within a short commutable distance.  The branch itself is spacious, both on the shop floor and in the dispensary area, with a reasonably sized consultation room.

Daily Life: Due to the location of this branch, there is a lot of foot fall from the medical centre and from the surrounding residential area, so it can get very busy.  The clientele is highly varied, and there are many regulars that are well-known and have a good relationship with the team.  The average number of items dispensed per month is 10,500, and both essential and advanced services are on offer. The opening hours are 08:30 – 18:30, Monday to Friday.

The Team:  The team in branch are organised, efficient and close-knit, and help each other to keep up group morale.  The staff have varying experience between them, with a mix of long-standing staff who have extensive knowledge, and the newer staff who bring with them a fresh perspective.  Together they are motivated and friendly and they are ideally looking for someone with the experience to hit the ground running.

Parking / Public Transport: There is car park available outside the medical centre.  A bus stop can be found directly outside, and the local train station is within walking distance.  There are good transport links as the A635 is in close proximity, and the A1 is a short drive away.
