How Benylin Mucus Cough Night 150ml Works

This powerful liquid medicine contains a triple-action formula designed to combat your cough and associated symptoms:

  • Diphenhydramine hydrochloride: An antihistamine that helps to relieve coughing, dry up excessive secretions in the nose and chest, and promotes a restful sleep.
  • Guaifenesin: An expectorant that works to loosen stubborn mucus (phlegm) in your lungs, making it easier to cough up and clear your airways.
  • Levomenthol: Provides a soothing sensation and helps to relieve congestion, allowing you to breathe more easily.

By combining these active ingredients, Benylin Mucus Cough Night 150ml helps to reduce the frequency of your cough and ease breathing, ensuring a more peaceful night. For more information on managing coughs, visit our Coughs condition page.

Understanding Mucus Coughs and Night-time Symptoms

A mucus or chesty cough is often a symptom of a common cold or flu, where your body produces excess mucus to trap and expel irritants. This can be particularly disruptive at night, making it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Benylin Mucus Cough Night 150ml is designed to address these specific night-time challenges, helping to alleviate the cough and the discomfort that often accompanies it. If you're also experiencing a sore throat, we have a range of products to help.

A good product. Pleasant taste. Does what it says on the box. Strong stuff and needs to be used within the guidelines before bed time to aid sleep. Needs care for daytime use if working. Needs additional meds (eg. Menthol crystals) to ease nasal congestion.
