How Vicks VapoRub Works

• Relieves Nasal Congestion: The aromatic vapours, including menthol and eucalyptus oil, help to clear blocked nasal passages, making it easier to breathe. This can be particularly beneficial when experiencing a cold or hayfever related congestion.
• Calms Coughs: Menthol and camphor act as cough suppressants, helping to reduce the urge to cough, especially useful for alleviating coughs associated with colds.
• Soothes Sore Throats: Applied to the throat and chest, the warming sensation and aromatic vapours can provide comfort and relief for a sore throat.

Vicks VapoRub 50g offers versatile application methods. It can be gently massaged onto the chest, throat, and back, releasing its soothing vapours as you breathe. Alternatively, for a more intensive inhalation, you can add two teaspoonfuls to a bowl of hot (not boiling) water and inhale the vapours.

Directions: Adults: rub on chest, throat and back, leave night clothes loose or melt 2 teaspoonsful in hot water and inhale vapours. Children over 2 years: apply lightly to chest and back. Leave clothes loose for easy inhalation.
