Worms Itching Relief

Threadworms are a common parasitic infection in faeces. They are a very common problem in children, as they are easily spread via unwashed hands. One of the main symptoms is intense itching around the genitals, although you will be able to see the worms in your child’s poo if you look closely – they look like bits of white thread.

The itching and irritation mainly occur at night, as this is when the worms emerge. Medicines containing Mebendazole are an effective treatment for threadworms. Make sure you treat the whole family, even if they don’t have any symptoms. Also, make sure everyone washes their hands regularly and showers every morning.
