For optimal results, follow these directions when using Hydramed Night Eye Ointment Preservative Free 5g:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
• Remove the cap from the tube.
• Tilt your head back gently and pull down your lower eyelid with your index finger to create a small pocket.
• Slowly squeeze the tube until a 10mm strip of the ointment is instilled onto the lower eyelid.
• Blink two to three times to help spread the ointment evenly across your eye.
• Carefully wipe away any excess ointment from around your eyelids using a clean paper tissue.
• Replace the cap securely on the tube.

Due to its consistency, the ointment may cause a mild and temporary blurring of your vision. Therefore, it is recommended to apply Hydramed Night Eye Ointment once daily in the evening, just before going to sleep.

Please observe the following warnings when using Hydramed Night Eye Ointment Preservative Free 5g:

• This product is for external ophthalmic use only.
• Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the components listed in the ingredients.
• A slight temporary blurring of vision may occur after administration due to the oily consistency of the ointment. It is advisable to avoid activities that require clear vision (such as driving or operating machinery) immediately after applying the ointment.
• Do not wear contact lenses during instillation of the product. After administration, allow an interval of at least 30 minutes before reinserting contact lenses.
• If you are using Hydramed Night Eye Ointment concomitantly with other ophthalmic products, ensure there is an interval of at least 30 minutes between the application of the two products. Hydramed Night should always be the last product instilled.
• Discard the tube 90 days after first opening to maintain sterility and effectiveness.
• Avoid touching the tip of the tube on your eyelashes or eye to prevent contamination.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the container.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use if the container is damaged.
• Store between 15°C - 25°C.
