Dermol 500 Lotion for Dry Skin
Published: 2nd May, 2017 in: Skin Conditions
There are many reasons that dry skin can occur, but the good news is there are a number of products that can help you replenish the moisture in your skin and soothe the affected areas. If you suffer from skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis, keeping your skin hydrated is key.
What is Dermol 500 Lotion?
Unlike many moisturisers, Dermol 500 is specifically designed with dry skin conditions in mind. It can be used to provide relief from eczema, dermatitis, and dry, itchy skin. Skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis can get worse if the skin is allowed to dry out, and Dermol 500 lotion is a powerful formula that keeps the skin hydrated and protected.
How Does Dermol 500 Work?
Dermol 500 lotion has four active ingredients, two of which are liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate which boast moisturising properties. The liquid paraffin forms a waterproof barrier on the skin’s surface to lock in moisture. Benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine hydrochloride help to heal the skin thanks to their powerful antiseptic qualities. This helps to soothe the skin and prevent infection.
Which Product is Right for Me?
Dermol have a number of products to treat dry skin conditions, the most popular being the Dermol 500 lotion. The brand also offers a Dermol Shower Emollient which cares for your skin when you bathe. Ordinary soaps and shower gels can dry out the skin, but the Dermol 200 Shower Emollient is designed to restore the skin’s moisture levels. The Dermol wash is also great to use in place of your usual hand wash.
If you want to prevent your skin from drying out, the Dermol range has moisturising products to suit every need, all of which are available to purchase through the Weldricks online store.
