Tris-NAC Ear Cleansing Solution 120ml

Tris NAC is specially formulated with Tris EDTA and N-acetyl cysteine to help manage resistant bacterial ear and skin issues in dogs and cats.

Bacterial biofilm is an increasingly common problem in veterinary dermatology. The ability of bacteria to form a protective film which acts as a self defence mechanism against antibiotics is resulting in an increase in antibiotic resistance.

Tris NAC can be used to help break down bacterial biofilm, reduce biofilm formation and enhance the activity of medicated treatments ensuring better outcomes in these difficult cases.

Tris NAC should be used as a pre-treatment flush whenever there is biofilm present.

Tris EDTA – a useful potentiating agent that increases the efficacy of medicated drops.

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) – has antibacterial properties and breaks down and decreases biofilm formation by a variety of bacteria.

Instructions for use in ears:
Apply an ear cleaner to remove any exudate present in the ear canal
Using the syringe provided, apply the correct volume by size (Small dog/cat: 1ml, Medium dog: 3ml. Large dogs: 5ml).
Massage the base of the ear and allow the product to sit in the ear canal for 5-10 minutes.
Wipe away any excess with a cotton pad.
Apply the chosen antibiotic solution.
Repeat daily for two weeks before rechecking and continue as needed.

Instructions for use on the skin:
Depending on the problem, the product be applied by either method below:
Syringe the liquid directly onto the skin as required to ensure the area affected is covered and massage in.
Apply the solution to a gauze until soaked and place the gauze onto the affected area for 10 minutes
