The Proctor's Pinelyptus brand has great heritage and tradition. Dating back to approximately 1890, this product has long been used to treat loss of voice. In its early days the brand was marketed as a 'boon to speakers, singers, school teachers, auctioneers, and others who have to exert their voice'. Indeed for many years advertisements for Proctor's Pinelyptus Pastilles included lists of Lords and Ladies who used the product.
Today Proctor's is used and highly recommended by actors, singers, public speakers and leading politicians. Even the late, great Maurice Chevalier is noted for his recommendation of the product.
