LumbaCurve - Lower Back Pain Relief Support

Published: 7th September, 2016 in: Conditions Health Advice

LumbaCurve is a lower back pain relief product that can be used by most adults as a home treatment for back pain, or healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths. LumbaCurve provides drug free back pain relief and mobility for a range of ailments including non-specific mechanical low back pain, and sciatica as well sports related injuries or post exercise muscle fatigue.

By lying on LumbaCurve, the lumbar spine is gently stretched, passive gravity assisted traction (PGAT) causing the pressure on the discs to be reduced – similar to what a physiotherapist would do with stretching exercises.

How LumbaCurve Works:

Carrying out a very simple exercise on LumbaCurve encourages the facet joints to mobilise, similar to the "thumbing" action of a chiropractor, attempting to push the joints apart, allowing the discs to relax and ease pressure on the nerves causing the pain.

LumbaCurve’s patented design applies pressure to acupressure points in the lower back associated with pain relief as practised in Shiatsu massage or other Oriental therapies.

When preparing to use LumbaCurve, find a level area of floor space that is firm, comfortable and large enough to accommodate your full body length with arms and legs outstretched. Wear light, comfortable clothing, avoiding thick waistbands, belts, or studs. Also avoid food or drink before using LumbaCurve.
