This unabsorbed fat passes out of the body naturally. For every 2kg (4lb) you lose through your own efforts and healthy eating, Alli can help you lose an additional 1kg (2lb). It is designed for individuals who are committed to making long-term lifestyle changes.
Weight loss varies by individual. Alli is designed to boost the results of your existing low-calorie, low-fat diet by helping you lose an extra 1lb for every 2lb you lose through dieting alone.
Because Alli prevents fat absorption, you may experience changes in bowel habits if you eat a meal too high in fat. Staying within your recommended fat target helps manage this.
Treatment should not usually exceed six months. If you have not lost weight after taking Alli for 12 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Take one capsule three times a day with water.
Timing: Take the capsule immediately before, during, or up to one hour after each main meal that contains fat.
Dietary Note: If you miss a meal, or have a meal containing no fat, do not take the capsule.
Multivitamin: You should take a multivitamin (containing vitamins A, D, E, and K) once a day, at bedtime, to ensure adequate nutrient absorption.
