 Laxido Orange contains the active ingredient Macrogol 3350, which helps to increase the water content in the bowel. This process softens hard stools and encourages regular bowel movements, making it a reliable choice for managing long-term (chronic) constipation.

Unlike some other treatments, Laxido also includes electrolytes (sodium and potassium), which are essential for maintaining your body's mineral levels while the laxative is active. For the best results, always follow the instructions provided by your pharmacist or GP.

  • For Chronic Constipation: The usual dose is 1 sachet taken 1–3 times daily, depending on the severity of your symptoms. For long-term use, this may be reduced to 1–2 sachets daily.
  • For Faecal Impaction: A higher dose of 8 sachets daily is typically required, all to be consumed within a 6-hour window. This course usually lasts no longer than 3 days.
  • Preparation: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125ml (approx. a quarter pint) of water. Stir well until the powder is dissolved and the liquid is clear or slightly hazy, then drink immediately.

For me this is an excellent product and, like another customer, I have to take opioids daily as unable to take anti-inflammatories. My story is very similar to his and I find one sachet a day does the trick as suggested by a consultant I saw back in September. I also gave Weldricks a 5 star Trustpilot review as it was a speedy delivery from placing the order and in my humble opinion DPD are the best courier. Also, Weldricks have gained a customer as the initial supplier I was using kept putting me through the third degree when I ordered this items!

I take opioids daily and have tried everything for the constipation and nothing did the job. Either it didn't work and I was severely constipated or it worked too good and I would have painful cramps and the runs. Plus many of these were stimulant laxatives meaning you shouldn't take them long-term unless you have no choice. But this amazing medication allows me to go and do my business without issue. No pain, not too soft or too hard, just a normal bowel movement. I took two sachets a day at the beginning to get my body into a rhythm and now I only need to take one sachet a day. As it's an osmotic laxative it's safe to take it daily indefinitely. I don't know what I'd do without this amazing stuff.
