Description

Why Choose Viscotears Liquid Gel for Dry Eyes?

Viscotears Liquid Gel 2.0 mg/g Carbomer 10g stands out for its unique formulation, which is designed to cling to the eye surface for extended periods, providing sustained lubrication. This means less frequent application compared to some other eye drops, offering continuous comfort throughout your day.

The active ingredient, Carbomer (polyacrylic acid) at 2.0 mg/g concentration, works by mimicking your eye's natural tear film. It helps to stabilise the tear layer and prevent rapid evaporation, making it highly effective for various dry eye conditions, including keratoconjunctivitis sicca.

At Weldricks Pharmacy, we understand the importance of clear vision and eye comfort. That's why we offer Viscotears Liquid Gel 10g, a trusted eye gel solution, with the convenience of free UK delivery on orders over £40 and excellent customer satisfaction, reflected in our 4.9/5 Trustpilot rating.

Key Benefits of Viscotears Liquid Gel:

  • Long-lasting relief: Its viscous liquid gel formula adheres to the eye, providing enduring moisture.

  • Trusted ingredient: Contains Carbomer (polyacrylic acid), a recognised agent for dry eye treatment.
  • Easy application: Designed for straightforward use, helping you quickly achieve comfort.

FAQ

How often should I apply Viscotears Liquid Gel?

For adults (including the elderly), the usual dosage is one drop in each affected eye, three or four times a day. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's advice.

Can I use Viscotears Liquid Gel if I wear contact lenses?

If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them before applying Viscotears Liquid Gel. Wait at least 15 minutes before re-inserting your contact lenses.

How long can I use Viscotears Liquid Gel after opening the tube?

Once opened, Viscotears Liquid Gel should not be used for longer than four weeks. Always check the expiry date on the tube as well.

What is the main difference between Viscotears Liquid Gel and regular eye drops?

Viscotears Liquid Gel contains Carbomer, which forms a more viscous gel that clings to the eye surface for longer. This provides extended lubrication compared to some thinner eye drops, making it particularly effective for persistent dry eye symptoms.
