Bank Holiday Opening Hours & Delivery Information

Bank Holiday Opening Hours & Delivery Information

With the upcoming Bank Holiday on Monday 25th May, there will be some changes to our branch opening hours and our online processing times.

To ensure you receive your essential items and medications on time, we recommend placing your orders as early as possible.

Branch Opening Hours

Most of our branches will be closed or operating on reduced hours on the Bank Holiday Monday. You can find specific opening times for your local Weldricks branch using our Pharmacy Finder.

Delivery & Processing Times

Please note that our warehouse and courier partners do not process or deliver parcels on Bank Holiday Monday. This will result in a slight delay to our usual turnaround times.

  • Orders placed after 5.30pm on Friday 22nd May: Will be processed from Tuesday 26th May onwards.
  • Prescription Orders: Please allow an additional 2-3 working days for processing around the holiday period.

To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise customers to order in plenty of time. For time-sensitive items, we recommend choosing Express Delivery services (where available) or our Click and Collect service, as these offer the most reliable tracking during busy periods.

Prescriptions & Vet Meds

We continue to prioritise Vet and Prescription medications. If you are required to post an original prescription to us, please be aware that postal delays occur around Bank Holidays. If your medication is time-critical, we recommend using a guaranteed next-day service to send your prescription to us.

Please remember: Legally, we can only begin processing certain prescriptions, such as controlled drugs, once we have the original physical prescription in our possession.

Need Help?

Please be aware that following the Bank Holiday, our Customer Service team will be working through a higher volume of enquiries than usual. As a result, it may take us slightly longer to respond to emails and online contact forms - please allow an additional 2-3 working days for a reply. We also anticipate that our phone lines will be significantly busier than usual during this period. To avoid a long wait on the phone, we recommend using our online enquiry form for non-urgent queries. We appreciate your patience as our team works hard to catch up and provide you with the best possible support."
