At Weldricks we can offer a period delay treatment beginning 3 days before your period is due, which can delay your period for up to 17 days.
This period delay treatment is a clinically approved way to temporarily delay your period.

Why choose to delay your period?
By delaying your period, you can be confident that you will enjoy your holiday or event without having to experience the symptoms of a period such as bloating, pain and discomfort.
How do I take the medication?
The medication prescribed is norethisterone 5mg tablets and is taken at a dose of 1 three times per day. The tablets are to be taken 3 days before your period is due. Your period will be delayed for three days after you stop taking the tablet.
Can I access this treatment if I already take the contraception pill?
This treatment is not suitable for patients who are currently taking contraception and advice should be sought from your prescriber about the use of your contraception in delaying periods.
Do I need to make an appointment for the service?
You can book an appointment here through the website or alternatively you can download the Weldricks Be Well app and select an appointment at a participating branch.
