AactiMed Liquid Paraffin & White Soft Paraffin 50:50 Ointment is a simple two-ingredient emollient. It forms a protective barrier on the skin to prevent water loss, and by helping the skin retain moisture it restores smoothness, softness and flexibility. It can be used on dry areas such as the hands, elbows, knees and feet, and on the lips.

Three ways to use AactiMed 50:50 Ointment

Ensure hands are clean before using.

As an emollient: apply to dry skin areas as often as required and rub in.

As a bath additive: dissolve in hot water. Use as a soap substitute. Care should be taken as the bath surface can become slippery. After bathing, gently pat the skin with a clean towel.

As a skin cleanser: use as required when washing or in the shower.

Fire hazard: do not smoke or go near naked flames; clothing and bedding with this product dried on them can catch fire easily.

This product can be absorbed into fabric such as clothing and bedding, after which these fabrics can catch fire more easily if exposed to a naked flame. Anyone using or handling the product should keep away from fire until any skin or clothing which has been in contact with it has been adequately cleaned.

Do not use if the skin is badly cracked, infected or bleeding. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Avoid using near the eyes. Take care when bathing, as the product may make the skin and surfaces slippery. If you experience any undesirable effects, or if the condition worsens, stop using and consult your doctor or pharmacist. If the product is accidentally swallowed, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

For external use only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. Do not use after the expiry date.
