Adaptil Transport Spray 20ml is a pocket-size calming spray for dogs, for use in the car, in a carrier or on a cushion before a journey or vet visit. It contains a synthetic copy of the comforting pheromone a mother dog uses to reassure her puppies, and each application lasts up to five hours.

Description

A small calming spray for vet visits and car trips

Not every stressful outing is a long drive. A trip to the vet, a visit to the groomer or a short car ride can unsettle a nervous dog just as much. The 20ml bottle of Adaptil Transport fits in a bag or glovebox, so it's there whenever you need it, and it's a simple way to try the spray before committing to the larger 60ml size.

The same Adaptil Transport formula, in a 20ml bottle

Spray it into the car, your dog's carrier or their cushion 15 minutes before your dog goes in, and the effect lasts up to five hours. It's sprayed onto surfaces, never onto your dog. For continuous support at home or on walks, the rest of the Adaptil range includes collars and plug-in diffusers. If travel is part of your fireworks-season plans, see our guide to easing pet anxiety in fireworks season.

Why the Adaptil Transport Spray 20ml works for short trips:

  • Pocket-size 20ml bottle: easy to keep in a bag or the car
  • Up to five hours per application: covers most vet visits and journeys
  • Ready in 15 minutes: spray before your dog gets into the car or carrier
  • Sprayed on surfaces: car, carrier, cushion or bedding, never on your dog
FAQ

How long before a car journey should I use Adaptil Transport Spray?

Spray the car, carrier or cushion 15 minutes before your dog gets in or on the sprayed area. Each application lasts up to five hours.

Can I spray Adaptil Transport directly on my dog?

No. Never spray Adaptil Transport directly onto your dog. Spray it onto the car interior, carrier, cushion or bedding instead, with your dog away from the area.

What's the difference between Adaptil Transport Spray 20ml and 60ml?

Both contain the same Adaptil Transport spray and are used the same way. The 20ml bottle is a smaller, more portable size; the 60ml bottle suits regular or long journeys.

Directions

Spray directly in your car, in your dog's carrier or on their cushion. Always wait 15 minutes before letting your dog get into or on the sprayed area. Each application lasts up to five hours.

During long car journeys, re-spray every 4 to 5 hours with your dog away from the sprayed area, then wait 15 minutes before letting your dog back in the car.
