Description

Why Choose Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml?

Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml provides a simple, effective, and non-invasive way to manage excess ear wax. Hardened ear wax can lead to a feeling of discomfort, and even temporary hearing loss. By softening the wax, this spray helps your body to naturally clear it, potentially avoiding the need for more invasive procedures like ear syringing.

Gentle and Effective Formula

Formulated with medical-grade virgin olive oil, Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml works to lubricate and break down compacted ear wax. Its spray format ensures an even distribution within the ear canal, making the process of ear wax removal more efficient and comfortable. It's suitable for the whole family, including adults, the elderly, and children aged 5 years and above (with a doctor's consultation for young children).

Easy to Use for At-Home Ear Care

This convenient 10ml spray bottle is designed for easy, mess-free application. Simply follow the directions for use to help alleviate symptoms such as a feeling of fullness in the ear, discomfort, or reduced hearing caused by ear wax build-up. Maintain your ear hygiene with confidence, backed by Weldricks Pharmacy's commitment to accessible and professional healthcare.

FAQ

Is Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml suitable for children?

Yes, Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml is suitable for children aged 5 years and above, as well as adults and the elderly. For children under 5, please consult a doctor to confirm the presence of ear wax before use.

What should I do if the ear wax symptoms don't improve after 14 days?

If your symptoms persist for more than 14 days, or if the ear wax is very hard and the spray alone doesn't seem to clear the ear canal, it's recommended to consult your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist for further advice. In some cases, softening the wax can temporarily worsen symptoms.

Directions

How to Use Otex Olive Oil Ear Spray 10ml

For adults, the elderly and children (diagnosed with hardened ear wax):

  • Before using a new bottle, hold the bottle upright and press the actuator (aiming at a tissue or similar) until you get a spray. This will prime the pump ready for use.
  • Repeat the following once or twice daily, for up to 14 days, until you notice an improvement in your hearing and less discomfort:
  • Hold the bottle in an upright position with the nozzle placed at the entrance to the ear canal and spray once. Do not forcefully push into the ear canal as this may cause damage. Make sure you press down the actuator fully during each use.
  • After spraying, tilt the head for a minute or two so that the fluid flows down into the ear canal.
  • Leave for a few minutes then use a tissue to wipe away any surplus product that runs from the ear.
  • Do not "plug” the ears with cotton wool.
  • Repeat in the other ear, if necessary.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Always return bottle to the carton after use.

Note that, in some cases, excessive ear wax may persist for more than 14 days, despite softening. If the wax is very hard, the ear spray alone may not be able to clear the ear canal and any softening and expansion of the wax volume may worsen the symptoms of excessive ear wax, including tinnitus and temporary loss of hearing. In these cases you should consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist for further advice.
