Calming support designed around a bird's sensitive lungs
Birds take in the air around them far more readily than cats or dogs, so the Bird Calming Kit is used indirectly. The diffuser goes in a well-ventilated room, a few feet from the cage rather than beside it. The spray never goes into the air near your bird: you spray a cloth, perch cover or your sleeve, then place or wear it near the cage.
When to use the Bird Calming Kit
Pet Remedy suggests the kit for times that unsettle pet birds: settling into a new home, vet visits, travel, cage cleaning and fireworks. Start the diffuser before Bonfire Night and keep it running, and use the spray on a cloth for the noisiest evenings. For more on getting through the season, read our guide to easing pet anxiety in fireworks season, or see the full Pet Remedy range.
