Use on bedding, carriers and your hands

Spray a blanket, bandana or carrier before setting off, or rub a wipe on your fingers before handling your pet. A few sprays typically last 2 to 6 hours, depending on the animal. Spray: apply to bedding, a blanket, a carrier, a bandana or your hands, then handle your pet. Avoid spraying your pet directly. A few sprays typically last 2 to 6 hours, depending on the animal.

Wipes: gently rub around the muzzle, chin and chest, or use on bedding, crates or soft furnishings. Wipes can also be used to wipe grooming or examination surfaces, or attached to a cat basket.

Rabbits: apply a little spray to a damp cloth or your fingers and rub around the muzzle.

• Avoid spraying directly onto your pet, so the spray isn't linked with the stressful situation.
• Avoid spraying near small mammals and birds, as they have small lung capacity: spray a cloth and place it near them instead.
