Description

Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose contains the active ingredient fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid with a strong anti-inflammatory action. This works in a similar way to your body's natural chemicals to help control inflammation caused by allergic reactions to pollen and other environmental allergens. When used regularly, it helps manage your body's response to allergens, effectively reducing symptoms.

FAQ

How quickly does Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose start to work?

While Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose starts to reduce inflammation and swelling in your nose quickly, it may take 3 to 4 days of regular use to build up to its maximum protective effect and deliver full relief from your hayfever symptoms.

Can Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose be used by children?

No, Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Please consult a doctor or pharmacist for suitable hayfever treatments for younger individuals.

How often should I use Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose?

For adults aged 18 years and over, the usual dose is two sprays into each nostril once a day. If your symptoms improve, you may reduce to one spray per nostril daily. If symptoms are severe, you may temporarily use two sprays into each nostril twice a day (morning and evening), but do not exceed four sprays per nostril in a day. Always read the included patient information leaflet.

What makes Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose different from antihistamine tablets?

Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray 120 Dose contains a corticosteroid (fluticasone propionate) that works directly in the nasal passages to reduce inflammation caused by allergens. Antihistamine tablets, on the other hand, work systemically throughout the body to block histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions. Pirinase targets nasal symptoms more directly, providing effective relief from sneezing, itching, and congestion, and it is non-drowsy.
