Always administer Zenrelia Tablet for Dogs 6.4mg exactly as prescribed by your veterinary surgeon. The dosage is based on your dog's body weight and should be given once daily, with or without food.

The recommended dose is 0.6-0.8 mg ilunocitinib per kg body weight, given orally once daily. The table below provides a guide for the appropriate tablet strength and number of tablets to administer:

• Dog weight range (kg): 4.1-5.3 kg | Strength and number of tablets to be administered daily: 6.4 mg (0.5 tablet)
• Dog weight range (kg): 8.1-10.6 kg | Strength and number of tablets to be administered daily: 6.4 mg (1 tablet)
• Dog weight range (kg): 14.2-16 kg | Strength and number of tablets to be administered daily: 6.4 mg (1.5 tablets)

Contraindications:

• Do not use Zenrelia Tablet for Dogs 6.4mg in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance, ilunocitinib, or to any of the excipients.
• Do not use in dogs less than 12 months of age.
• Do not use in dogs with evidence of immune suppression (e.g., hyperadrenocorticism) or with progressive neoplastic disease, as the active substance has immunomodulatory properties.
• Do not use in pregnant or lactating bitches, or in breeding animals.

Special warnings for each target species:

• Clinical signs of atopic dermatitis, such as itching and inflammation, are expected to improve within a few days of starting treatment. If there is no response within 14 days, the veterinary surgeon should re-evaluate the diagnosis and consider alternative treatments.
• It is a veterinary medicinal product for dogs only. Do not use in other species.

Special precautions for use:

• Special precautions for safe use in animals:
  The active substance has immunomodulatory properties and may potentially increase the risk of infections and exacerbate neoplastic conditions. • Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals:
  Wash hands immediately after administering the tablets. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label to the doctor. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. In case of accidental skin contact, wash the exposed area with water. In case of accidental eye contact, flush the eyes with plenty of water.

Adverse reactions:

The following adverse reactions have been observed in clinical studies:

• Common (1 to 10 animals in 100 treated animals): Diarrhoea, vomiting, lethargy, decreased appetite, skin lesions (e.g., crusts, scaling, redness), lymphadenopathy.
• Uncommon (1 to 10 animals in 1,000 treated animals): Polydipsia (increased thirst), polyuria (increased urination), weight gain, ear infections.
• Rare (1 to 10 animals in 10,000 treated animals): Decreased white blood cell count (lymphopenia, neutropenia), increased serum cholesterol, increased serum triglycerides.
