Anthisan cream should be applied directly to the site of the insect bite or sting or nettle rash two to three times a day for up to three days. For best results use as soon as possible after the bite or sting.

Do not use Anthisan Cream 25g if:

• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to mepyramine maleate or any of the other ingredients listed. Signs of an allergic reaction include rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of lips, face, throat, or tongue.
• You have eczema or extensively broken skin.

Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if:

• Skin sensitivity occurs.
• Symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days of use.
• You experience an allergic reaction, including increased skin redness, swelling, and itching in the treated area.

Other important warnings:

• This medicine contains ceto-stearyl alcohol and castor oil, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis: skin redness, swelling, itching, pain, or burning).
• It also contains methyl hydroxybenzoate, which may cause an allergic reaction, possibly delayed.
