Direction for Use

Place 1 or 2 drops in the eye(s) as needed.

To apply the drops effectively:

• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• Take the bottle and twist off the cap.
• After the cap is opened, remove the tamper-evident snap collar.
• Hold the bottle, pointing down, between your thumb and middle finger.
• Tilt your head back. Pull down your eyelid with a clean finger until there is a 'pocket' between the eyelid and your eye. The drop will go into this pocket.
• Bring the bottle tip close to the eye. You may use a mirror to assist.
• Do not touch your eye or eyelid, surrounding areas, or any other surface with the dropper tip. This could contaminate the drops remaining in the bottle.
• Gently press on the base of the bottle to release one drop of Aqualube-Forte lubricant eye drops at a time. Do not squeeze the bottle, as it is designed for a gentle press.
• If you are using drops in both eyes, repeat the steps for your other eye.
• Put the bottle cap back on firmly immediately after use.
• If a drop misses your eye, try again.
• White particles may appear on eyelashes after administration if the product oozes out. Wipe areas around the eye with a clean cloth soaked in lukewarm water if needed.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
• The dropper tip remains sterile until the bottle is opened.
• To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do not touch the bottle tip to any surface or make contact with the eye.
• Close the bottle tightly immediately after use.
• Once opened, discard any unused solution after 1 month.
• Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the carton and bottle.
• Do not use if the package is damaged or the tamper-evident seal is broken.
• Discard the solution if it becomes cloudy or brown.
• Store in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
• Allow 15 minutes between the administration of other eye drops.
• Remove contact lenses before use.
• Consult your doctor, pharmacist, or optician before you use Aqualube Forte Lubricating eye drops if:
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are suffering from any other eye disease or disorder.
  • You are using any other medicine in your eye.

Side Effects

Common side effects include: Eye irritation (including burning and discomfort), eye pain, eye pruritus, and/or visual disturbance. Blurring of vision may occur immediately after use. Do not operate machinery, use electric tools, or drive a car until clear vision is restored.

In the event of experiencing side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, or if there is prolonged irritation, severe visual disturbance, or any change in your general health, consult your doctor immediately.
