How Buttercup Syrup Works:

This traditional remedy contains two active ingredients that work together to provide soothing relief:

• Squill liquid extract: A plant-derived ingredient with a mild expectorant action. It helps to thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up and clear your airways.
• Capsicum Tincture: Contributes an aromatic, warming sensation, which can be comforting for irritated throats.

Adults and children over 12 years of age:

• Take two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) three times a day.
• Take an additional dose at bedtime if your cough is particularly troublesome.

• This product contains alcohol (ethanol) and may be harmful to those suffering from alcoholism.
• This medicinal product contains 1.32g fructose, 1.32g glucose, and 1.77g sucrose per 5ml dose. This should be considered if you have diabetes.
• If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
• The colourants E110 (Sunset Yellow), E122 (Carmoisine), E217 (sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate), and E219 (sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate) may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
• Use within 28 days of first opening the bottle.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
• Do not use if the bottle cap seal is broken or damaged upon purchase.

• Also contains: Acacia powder, caramel colour (E150), ethanol, levomenthol, clove oil, peppermint oil, sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219), sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), aniseed flavour, purified water, carmoisine (E122), Sunset Yellow (E110), strong ginger tincture (ginger, ethanol, water), acetic acid, saccharin sodium, partial invert syrup (sucrose, fructose and glucose), potassium sorbate.
