This linctus coats the throat and relieves the symptoms of coughs and sore throats and is suitable for adults and children over the age of one.
It treats coughs and soothes sore throats thanks to its demulcent effect. This means that it forms a soothing film over the throat when swallowed, helping to relieve pain and inflammation. Honey is a natural demulcent, whilst lemon juice is said to help get rid of excess mucus.
Those aged over 12 years may take doses of 10ml, with pauses of at least four hours between doses. For children under the age of 12, reduce the dosage to 5ml. Not recommended for babies under one year of age.
Take the solution by mouth.
SHAKE THE BOTTLE.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
Take 2 x 5ml spoonfuls.
Children over 1 year:
Take 1 x 5ml spoonful.
Repeat every 4 hours if required.
Do not give to children under 1 year old unless your doctor tells you to.
If symptoms persist for more than five days consult your doctor.

Do not use if sensitive to any ingredient, or when pregnant or breast feeding, except on the doctor's advice.

Unsuitable for those with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Heart irregularities have been reported. In large doses glycerol in the product may cause dehydration.
