Care Simple Linctus Paediatric is a liquid solution that is intended to provide relief for dry, irritating coughs. It works thanks to the active ingredient which is citric acid monohydrate. Citric acid works by being absorbed into the throat and coats it, relieving the effects of a cough. Citric acid is found naturally in the body and is often used as a pH control agent in certain types of food.
Children 1-5 years: Give 1 x 5ml spoonful.
Children 6-12 years: Give 2 x 5ml spoonfuls.
Patient Information LeafletRepeat the dose up to four times a day if necessary.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days consult a doctor
