• Shake the bottle well before use.
• For oral use only.
• Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years old: Take two 5ml spoonfuls when required, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
• Children over 1 year: Take one 5ml spoonful when required, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
• Do not give to children under 1 year old unless your doctor tells you to.
• If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Once opened, use within 28 days.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

1. Before you use this medicine

Do not use Covonia Dry & Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml if you have:

• An allergy to any of the ingredients listed in the 'Ingredients' section.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have:

• Diabetes: This product is not suitable for diabetics. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice on alternative medicines.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using if you are pregnant, might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Important ingredient information:

• Covonia Dry & Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml contains 1.7g of sucrose and 0.3g liquid glucose per 5ml dose. This should be taken into account in people with diabetes. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
• It also contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100mg per 10ml dose.

2. Possible side effects

3. Further information

If you accidentally take too much:

See a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.

• Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• Return any unused medicine to the pharmacy for disposal.

Active ingredients per 5ml: Glycerol 1.36g.

Other ingredients are: Honey, Capsicum Tincture (Capsicum Oleoresin, ethanol), Menthol, Peppermint Oil, Anise Oil, Citric Acid Monohydrate (E330), Syrup (Sucrose), Caramel (E150), Liquid Glucose, Blackcurrant Flavour (Propylene Glycol, Ethanol), Liquorice Liquid Extract, Purified Water.
