Doublebase Once Emollient Gel 500g is for application to the skin only.

• Before first use, turn the top of the pump dispenser in the direction of the open arrow to unlock it. You will need to press the pump several times to prime it before any gel is dispensed.
• For maximum benefit, gently smooth Doublebase Once Emollient Gel over and around all dry skin areas once daily or as often as needed.
• Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the gel across the skin in the same direction as hair growth.
• Allow time for any excess gel to soak into the skin. Do not rub the skin vigorously.
• When using as a soap substitute for washing, apply as you would your normal soap to prevent further drying of the skin.
• If you are applying another skin treatment to the same areas, try to avoid mixing the two products. Apply them alternately, allowing sufficient time for the previous application to soak in.
• If you occasionally forget to use it, simply continue using the gel as described the next time you need it.

Important Safety Information:

• This product contains Liquid Paraffin, which is highly flammable. Keep away from open or gas fires, hobs, and naked flames, including candles. Do not smoke when using this paraffin-containing preparation.
• Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin. Note that it may not be completely removed, even with high-temperature washing, as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time.
• Do not use Doublebase Once Emollient Gel 500g if you have a known sensitivity or allergy to isopropyl myristate, liquid paraffin, or any other listed ingredients.
• This product is for external use on the skin only.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not freeze.

Possible Side Effects:

Doublebase Once Emollient Gel 500g is designed for dry or problem skin. However, in rare cases, it may cause skin irritation (mild rashes) or allergic skin reactions on extremely sensitive skin. These effects usually occur during or soon after the first few uses.

Stop using this gel and tell your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist if:

• Your skin condition appears to worsen or feels worse.
• You experience any serious side effects, or notice any other side effects not mentioned in the Patient Information Leaflet.

Accidental Swallowing:

If this product is accidentally swallowed, its oily ingredients may cause diarrhoea. If this happens, treat the symptoms as you would any case of diarrhoea: drink plenty of water, and do not attempt to cause vomiting.
