Hibiwash Antimicrobial Skin Cleanser is primarily used for effective skin antisepsis, including surgical hand washing, hygienic hand washing on wards, and pre-operative whole-body washing for patients. Its main purpose is to reduce bacteria on the skin to help prevent various infections.

The 4% w/w Chlorhexidine Gluconate in Hibiwash works by binding to the skin and creating a protective antimicrobial layer. This layer actively kills and removes a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeast, fungi, and viruses, and its effect can last for several hours even after rinsing.
