The Power of Colloidal Oatmeal & Emollients

At the heart of Miclaro Oat Cream 500ml is Colloidal oatmeal, a natural extract widely recognised for its soothing properties in emollients for dry skin conditions. This key ingredient helps to calm discomfort and reduce the feeling of itchiness.

Alongside colloidal oatmeal, this cream contains a blend of emollients, including Liquid Paraffin and White Soft Paraffin. These ingredients work by:

• Softening, moisturising, and protecting your skin by trapping moisture and restoring its normal protective function.
• Preventing the skin from drying out and acting as a barrier against irritants often found in ordinary cleansing products like soaps, foaming additives, and fragrances.

Miclaro Oat Cream 500ml can be used on its own or as a complementary product alongside any other emollients or treatments recommended by your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse to manage your dry skin.

This product should only be applied to the skin. For maximum benefit, you should apply the cream to the affected skin on a regular basis and as often as required.

Before using the pump bottle, turn the top of the pump dispenser anticlockwise to unlock. After unlocking, you will need to press down the pump dispenser several times to prime the pump before any product is dispensed.

Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the cream across the skin in the same direction as hair growth. If necessary, allow time for any excess cream to soak into the skin.

Do not rub vigorously into the skin.

Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do not apply if the skin is broken, badly cracked, infected, or bleeding. Avoid contact with the eyes.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects when used as directed. If unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

• Paraffin can become flammable when it soaks into fabric.
• Do not go near anyone smoking or using naked flames (e.g., candles, gas cookers or heaters).
• Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable; keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc., and do not smoke when using these paraffin-containing preparations.
• Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin, although it may not be completely removed unless it is washed at a high temperature, as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time.
• For someone who has bedding or clothing likely to be impregnated with emollient cream: do not have candles, electric blankets, overload plug sockets, or place hot hairdryers/hair straighteners on the bed.
