Thiamacare 10mg/ml Oral Solution for Cats 30ml is a veterinary medicinal product, available only with a vet prescription, designed to help manage feline hyperthyroidism. Containing 10 mg/ml of the active substance Thiamazole, this oral solution assists in stabilising your cat's thyroid function.

Description

What is Feline Hyperthyroidism?

Feline hyperthyroidism is a common condition in older cats, caused by an overactive thyroid gland producing too much thyroid hormone. This can lead to various symptoms, including weight loss despite increased appetite, hyperactivity, excessive thirst, and poor coat condition. Thiamacare 10mg/ml Oral Solution for Cats 30ml offers a targeted approach to managing these symptoms, helping your cat to live a more comfortable life.

How Thiamacare Works

The active ingredient in Thiamacare 10mg/ml Oral Solution for Cats 30ml is Thiamazole. Thiamazole works by blocking the biosynthesis of thyroid hormone in the cat's body, effectively reducing the levels of thyroid hormones circulating in their system. This helps to stabilise the condition, either as a long-term treatment or to prepare your cat for surgical thyroidectomy. As a trusted veterinary medicine, Thiamacare helps to bring your cat's thyroid function back into balance.
