When using Vicks VapoRub Easy Applicator 35g for the first time: remove the cap and the seal, then prime the product by turning the bottom of the stick 3-4 times. After initial use, simply remove the cap, twist the bottom to release the product, and apply. Clean the applicator with a tissue after each use and replace the cap.

Topical Application:

• Adults: Apply liberally onto the chest, throat, and back. Cover the whole area for maximum effect. Ensure nightclothes are loose to allow vapours to be inhaled easily.
• Children over 2 years: Gently apply a small amount onto the chest and back. Rub in gently. Leave clothes loose for easy inhalation.

Inhalation (Adults Only):

• If head cold or nasal catarrh persists, for deep action relief, melt two teaspoons of Vicks VapoRub in a bowl of very hot (not boiling) water.
• Inhale the soothing medicated vapours for 10-15 minutes.

Important: Read the package leaflet before use. This product can be used with other medicines. Never re-heat the mixture or heat VapoRub in a microwave.

Fire Hazard: Do not smoke or go near naked flames. Clothing & bedding with this product dried on them can catch fire easily.

• Do not swallow or place in nostrils, eyes, mouth, or face.
• If symptoms persist, or in case of fever, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• As with all medicines, keep out of sight and reach of children.
• For external use only.
• Do not use on children under 2 years of age.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Do not bandage tightly.
• Do not use with a heat wrap.
• Do not use as an inhalation for children under 12 years.
• Do not use on broken skin, wounds or mucous membranes.

Pregnancy and Breast-feeding: If you are pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Vicks VapoRub. Vicks VapoRub should not be used on the mother's chest during breast-feeding as there is a very low chance that the baby's breathing may be affected.

Possible Side Effects: Like all medicines, Vicks VapoRub can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Redness or irritation of the skin, irritation of the eyes (by inhalation) or allergic reactions can occur. These are usually mild and occur rarely. Burns at application site may occur but the frequency is not known. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.
