What is cows’ milk protein allergy?

CMPA is the most common food allergy in infants. Although most children eventually grow out of their milk allergy, its diagnosis and management can be a worrying time for parents. The good news is, with prompt diagnosis by a Healthcare Professional, treatment and expert dietary advice, CMPA can be effectively managed and its impact reduced to a minimum. What's in Aptamil Pepti Syneo?

A nutritionally complete infant formula, the protein in Aptamil Pepti SYNEO has been broken down (extensively hydrolysed) for the dietary management of cow’s milk allergy symptoms.

Aptamil Pepti Syneo contains our patented combination of Bifidobacterium breve M-16V and scGOS/lcFOS.

When preparing Aptamil Pepti SYNEO, pay close attention to the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage may result in adverse health effects due to the growth of unwanted bacteria. Prepare the food freshly before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftovers. Thoroughly clean the bottle, nipple and ring. Do not heat the formula in the microwave (overheating hazard).

1. Allow fresh, boiled drinking water to cool and use at a maximum temperature of 40 °C. Add 2/3 of the required amount of water to the bottle.
2. For accurate metering of the powder, level off the enclosed measuring spoon with the skimmer. Use only the enclosed measuring spoon.
3. Add the required amount of powder to the bottle. Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for about 10 seconds, add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake the bottle contents vigorously again.
4. Open the bottle and attach the nipple. Check bottle contents for serving temperature (approx. 37 °C).

Use within 3 weeks of opening and store in a cool dry place. 

Do not refrigerate.

For hygiene reasons, do not store made up feeds. Make up each feed as required and always discard unfinished feeds after 1 hour. 

If necessary offer cooled boiled water between feeds. Do not heat in a microwave . Hot spots may occur and cause scalding. 

Infants should be supervised at all times when feeding. Never leave your baby alone during feeding.
