Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:

• Using the measuring cup provided, 15 ml of Bronchostop Cough Syrup 200ml should be taken every 4 hours.
• Do not exceed 4 doses per day as standard.
• If required, up to a maximum of 6 doses (90ml) can be taken per day.
• Bronchostop Cough Syrup 200ml may be administered undiluted or diluted in water or warm tea.
• If symptoms worsen, or persist after 7 days, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.

• Do not use Bronchostop Cough Syrup 200ml if you have hypersensitivity to the active substances, to other members of the Lamiaceae family, or to any of the excipients.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• The use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data and because medical advice should be sought.
• If symptoms worsen, or persist after 7 days, a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
• If dyspnoea (shortness of breath), fever, or purulent sputum occurs, a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
• Bronchostop Cough Syrup 200ml contains the preservatives methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate. These may cause hypersensitivity reactions, including delayed reactions.
• No interaction studies have been performed with this product.
• The safety of Bronchostop Cough Syrup 200ml during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Therefore, in the absence of sufficient data, the use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
• Studies on the effects on fertility have not been performed.
• No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and to use machines have been performed.
• Hypersensitivity reactions (including one case of anaphylactic shock and one case of Quincke’s oedema) and stomach disorders have been observed with medicinal products containing thyme. The frequency is not known.
• If other adverse reactions not mentioned above occur, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
• Report any suspected adverse reactions after authorisation of the medicinal product via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Store the bottle in the original package in order to protect from light.
• Close the bottle tightly after use.
