Dentihex Adhesive Oral Paste contains Chlorhexidine which is a disinfectant, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ingredient. It has proven efficacy in maintaining a plaque-free and tartar-free environment in the mouth and is a supportive product in animals recovering from gingivitis and skin fold dermatitis.
Dentihex's formulation is particularly adhesive on mucosa and releases Chlorhexidine slowly over 24 hours.
For application, attach the enclosed applicator to the tube and apply directly to gums, moving from the back of the mouth to the front. If necessary, massage the gums gently.
Apply after eating between once daily and once weekly depending on the condition.

I have been using this, for a few months now, on my chihuahua's teeth and it has reduced some of the tartar buildup. There's still a way to go yet but it is working. I'm happy with the product so far.
