Description

Effective Care for Dry, Itchy Skin

Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml offers comprehensive care for various dry and sensitive skin concerns, including those prone to persistent itching and irritation. Its unique formulation helps to restore your skin's natural smoothness, softness, and flexibility by replacing lost moisture and preventing further water loss. Regular use helps to significantly reduce uncomfortable symptoms like scaling, redness, and persistent itching, supporting a healthier skin barrier.

Dual-Action Formula: Emollient & Antiseptic

This powerful emollient lotion for dry skin combines intensive moisturisation with antiseptic action, making it an effective solution for skin that needs both hydration and protection. It features a blend of active ingredients:

  • Liquid Paraffin 2.5% w/w and Isopropyl Myristate 2.5% w/w: These emollients work by creating a protective, waterproof barrier on the skin's surface. This barrier not only locks in existing moisture but also prevents water evaporation, keeping your skin hydrated and supple. They help to soften, moisturise and protect your skin by trapping moisture and restoring its normal protective function.
  • Benzalkonium Chloride 0.1% w/w and Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride 0.1% w/w: These active ingredients are effective antimicrobials that help to combat bacteria present on your skin. This is particularly beneficial for skin prone to irritation, where bacterial presence can worsen symptoms and lead to infection from scratching. They also help prevent infection caused by scratching itchy skin.

By providing both intensive moisturisation and antiseptic action, Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml helps to break the itch-scratch cycle, promoting healthier, more comfortable skin. It can also be used as a gentle soap substitute for dry skin, reducing the irritant effects of conventional soaps and shower gels that often exacerbate dryness and irritation.

Directions

Before using the 500 ml bottle of Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml, turn the top of the pump dispenser anti-clockwise to unlock it. You will then need to press down the pump several times to prime it before any product is dispensed.

Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml is for external use only. For maximum benefit, use regularly and as often as required.

For use as a leave-on application:

  • Apply Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml to the affected areas.
  • Gently massage into the skin until absorbed. Do not rub the skin vigorously.
  • Allow time for any excess to soak in.
  • Reapply as often as required.
  • If you are applying another treatment to the same areas of skin, try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved by applying the treatments alternately, leaving sufficient time to allow the previous application to soak in.

For use as a soap substitute:

  • Use Dermol 500 Lotion 500ml to wash with instead of your ordinary soap or shower gel. It will not foam or lather like ordinary cosmetic products.
  • After washing, bathing, or showering, gently pat the skin dry with a soft towel (avoid rubbing, as this can make dry skin conditions worse).

I use it as a body cream. I have been using it for the past 7 months. It is a nice product for my sensitive skin. It glows my skin and smoothens my wrinkles. My skin is looking radiant now. I highly recommend it. Good stuff.
