Description

What Drapolene Derma Cream contains

Benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide are antiseptics that help stop bacteria growing on the skin. Combined in a smooth, pink, non-greasy cream, they are used to soothe skin that is sore or likely to become sore. This 350g tub holds the same cream as the smaller packs, just in a larger amount.

Three uses, one cream

  • Incontinence: in adults, it helps treat and soothe skin that is sore or likely to become sore because of urine on the skin (urinary dermatitis). Our incontinence page has further support and products.
  • Nappy rash: it is used in the prevention, treatment and relief of nappy rash in babies from newborn onwards.
  • Minor burns: it can give soothing relief from minor burns such as mild sunburn and sore skin caused by the effects of weather.

Good to know

Check the ingredients list before use if you have known allergies, and keep the cream away from naked flames, as fabric that has been in contact with it burns more easily. For wider advice on keeping babies' skin comfortable, see our nappy rash guide.
