• If you have not used Dulcolax Twelve Plus Laxative Tablets before, start with 1 tablet and increase to 2 if necessary.
• Swallow tablets whole with water. Do not chew or crush them.
• Do not take milk or antacids within one hour before or after taking Dulcolax Twelve Plus Laxative Tablets, as these can affect how the tablets work.

Dulcolax Twelve Plus Laxative Tablets should not be used every day for more than 5 days. If laxatives are needed daily, or if you have persistent abdominal pain, consult your doctor.

Do not take Dulcolax Twelve Plus Laxative Tablets if:

• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to bisacodyl or any other ingredients in the product.

• You have a bowel condition called "ileus" (blockage in the intestine).
• You have a serious abdominal condition such as appendicitis, severe abdominal pain with nausea and vomiting.

• You have inflammation of the bowel (small or large intestine).
• You are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use in children under the age of 12 years unless on medical advice.

Important considerations:

• If you need laxatives for more than 5 days in a row or if you experience persistent abdominal pain, consult your doctor.

• Overuse of laxatives may damage your health by causing disturbances of fluid and mineral balances, leading to symptoms like tiredness, dizziness, muscle weakness, and an uneven heartbeat. Severe dehydration may also occur.

If you take more Dulcolax Twelve Plus Laxative Tablets than you should, talk to a doctor or go to a hospital straight away. Take the medicine pack with you.
