Description

Rheumocam meloxicam oral suspension for horses with musculo-skeletal pain

Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam class. It acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, giving anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-exudative and antipyretic effects.

Rheumocam for horses is used for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders. It is dosed by bodyweight at 0.6 mg/kg once daily, for up to 14 days, so body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
