How to Use Strepsils Lozenges Honey & Lemon Pack of 24

• Strepsils Lozenges Honey & Lemon Pack of 24 are suitable for adults, children (over 6 years old), and the elderly.
• Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours.
• Do not take more than 12 lozenges per day.
• Not suitable for children under 6 years.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• For oral administration only.

Important Warnings for Strepsils Lozenges Honey & Lemon Pack of 24

• Remember that young children can choke on lozenges.
• Do not use this product if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, amylmetacresol, or any of the other ingredients listed in Section 6 of the Patient Information Leaflet.
• Children under 6 years old should not use this medicine.
• Pregnancy and Breast-feeding: Check with your pharmacist or doctor before taking this product if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• Sugar Intolerance: This medicine contains sucrose (1.44g per lozenge), glucose (0.98g per lozenge), and Invert Sugar (honey). If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars or have diabetes mellitus, contact your doctor before taking this product.
• Gluten Content: Contains very low levels of gluten (from wheat starch) and is regarded as 'gluten-free'. Unlikely to cause problems for those with coeliac disease, but if you have a wheat allergy, you should not take this medicine.
• Sodium Content: Contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per dose, effectively 'sodium-free'.
• Allergic Reactions: This medicine contains fragrance with Citral, d-Limonene, Geraniol, and Linalool, which may cause allergic reactions. It also contains Sulphites – Sulphur Dioxide (E220) (present in liquid glucose) which may rarely cause severe hypersensitivity reactions and bronchospasm.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if:
  • You are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.
  • You suffer from any other throat problems.
  • Symptoms persist, have not improved, or have worsened after 3 days.
  • You experience stomach discomfort after taking too many lozenges.
  • You experience any hypersensitivity (e.g., itching, burning sensation, mouth discomfort, difficulty breathing, swelling of face/neck/tongue/throat, rash). Stop taking and seek medical advice immediately.
  • Any side effects get serious or are not listed in the leaflet.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the carton (EXP).
• Store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
