For oral use. Swallow Sudafed Blocked Nose & Sinus Capsules Pack of 16 whole with water. Do not chew.

Dosage:

• Adults, the elderly, and children aged 16 years and over: Take two capsules every 4 to 6 hours, as required.

Important usage information:

• Do not take more than 8 capsules (4 doses) in any 24-hour period.
• Ensure at least 4 to 6 hours between doses.
• Do not take for more than 3 days unless advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
• If your symptoms do not improve, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use Sudafed Blocked Nose & Sinus Capsules Pack of 16 if:

• You are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine, or any other ingredients listed in Section 6 (Ingredients).
• You have high blood pressure.
• You have severe heart disease or circulatory problems.
• You have an overactive thyroid.
• You have a history of stomach ulcers.
• You have an enlarged prostate.
• You are taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, drugs for depression known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs).
• You are taking tricyclic antidepressants, such as imipramine or amitriptyline.
• You are under 16 years old.

Special warnings:

• Contains Paracetamol: Do not take any other medicines containing paracetamol while using this product to avoid overdose. Seek immediate medical advice if you take too much, even if you feel well.
• Alcohol: Do not drink alcohol (beer, wine, spirits etc.) while taking this product.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Side Effects: Like all medicines, Sudafed Blocked Nose & Sinus Capsules Pack of 16 can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. If you experience any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage:

• Do not store above 25°C.
• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.

The active ingredients in Sudafed Blocked Nose & Sinus Capsules Pack of 16 are:

• 500 mg Paracetamol
• 25 mg Caffeine
• 6.1 mg Phenylephrine hydrochloride per capsule

Other ingredients include: Maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, sodium laurilsulfate, magnesium stearate, talc, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), Patent Blue V (E131), erythrosine (E127) and indigo carmine (E132).
