Directions for Use

Always wash your hands thoroughly before applying Epaderm Ointment (SLS Free) 500g.

As an Emollient:

• Apply to the skin as often as required.

As a Skin Cleanser:

• Use as required when washing or in the shower, in place of your usual soap.

As a Bath Additive:

• Melt a little Epaderm Ointment in a container of hot water.
• Shake to mix thoroughly.
• Allow to cool before adding to the bath.
• Please be careful as this will make the bath surface slippery.
• After bathing, gently pat skin dry with a soft, clean towel, avoiding rubbing to keep the oil on the skin.

For chronic conditions like eczema, consistent use of a moisturiser, even after skin improvement, can help prevent future flare-ups.

• Flammability Risk: This product contains Liquid Paraffin, which is highly flammable. Keep away from open or gas fires, hobs, naked flames (including candles, electric blankets, and other heat sources). Do not smoke when using these paraffin-containing preparations.
• Clothing & Bedding: Bedding and clothing that have come into contact with the ointment should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin. While washing at a high temperature may help, the paraffin may not be completely removed as it is invisible and can accumulate over time. There is a risk of severe burns if clothing or bedding impregnated with paraffin comes into contact with a naked flame or other heat sources.
