Effective Against Micro-organisms

Featuring Octenidine HCl, a key active ingredient, this wash lotion provides an effective antimicrobial action, helping to decontaminate the skin against various micro-organisms, including Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms (MDROs). Its unique formulation with Allantoin also contributes to its good skin-care properties, leaving skin feeling soft and protected.

For washing, apply Octenisan® wash lotion undiluted to a clean, damp washcloth. Rub onto the areas of the body to be cleansed, observing the required 1 min contact time* then wash off. For showering and/or hair washing simply use Octenisan® wash lotion in the same way as commercial hair and skin washing preparations.

Do not use in children under the age of 3.

Can be used for a limited period of time in children over 3 months of age for preoperative whole body decontamination.

Octenisan® 5 day antimicrobial wash protocol:

1. Ensure Hair and Body are Wet.
2. Apply Octenisan® wash lotion undiluted to a clean, damp washcloth.
3. Apply Octenisan® evenly all over the body & hair, focusing on areas a, b, c (refer to manufacturer's instructions for specific areas). Recommended skin contact time: 1 minute.
4. Rinse off thoroughly.
5. Dry with clean towel.
6. Put on clean clothing & bedding.

Do not use in children under the age of 3 for general washing. For specific preoperative whole body decontamination, it can be used for a limited period in children over 3 months of age under medical supervision.
