How Strepsils Lozenges Work

The active ingredient, Hexylresorcinol, gets to work in two ways:

• Antiseptic Action: Helps combat the bacteria that can cause throat infections.
• Local Anaesthetic: Provides a numbing effect to directly soothe the painful sensation in your throat.

Combined with the comforting taste of honey and lemon, these lozenges provide comprehensive relief from sore throat symptoms.

Suitable for adults, children (over 6 years old), and the elderly. Not suitable for children under 6 years. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 3 hours. No more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you. For oral use only.
