Flarin Joint & Muscular Pain Relief Soft Capsules Pack of 16 provides targeted relief for various types of pain. Unlike standard ibuprofen, Flarin uses a unique lipid formulation that encases the ibuprofen in lipids. • Fever and cold and flu symptoms.

For oral use.

• Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and older: Take 1 or 2 capsules (200 mg - 400 mg) with water and then take 1 or 2 capsules up to 3 times daily as required.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not chew the capsules.
• Do not exceed 1200mg (6 capsules) in any 24 hour period.
• The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.

If you have an infection, consult a doctor without delay if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen. If you are over 18 years of age, do not take this medicine for longer than 10 days unless your doctor tells you to. If you are aged between 12 and 18 years and this medicinal product is required for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen you should contact your doctor.

Contact your doctor or pharmacist for further advice if you are:

• Over 18 years of age and symptoms persist or worsen after 10 days of treatment.
• Between 12 and 18 years of age and symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days of treatment.

Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Do not take Flarin Joint & Muscular Pain Relief 200 mg Soft Capsules Pack of 16 if you:

• Have (or have had) two or more episodes of stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.
• Are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredients of the product, aspirin or other related painkillers (NSAIDs).
• Are taking other NSAID painkillers or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg.

Speak to a pharmacist or your doctor before taking if you:

• Have (or have had) asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems.
• Are a smoker.
• Are pregnant.
• Are 12-18 years of age and dehydrated (not drinking or able to retain fluids due to vomiting or diarrhoea).

Possible Side Effects:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you experience any of the following side effects, or anything unusual happens, stop taking the medicine immediately, and see your doctor or pharmacist:

• Pass blood in your faeces (stools/motions).
• Pass black tarry stools or motions.
• Vomit any blood or dark particles that look like coffee grounds.
• Severe hypersensitivity reactions (swelling of the face, tongue and throat, difficulty swallowing or breathing; unexplained wheezing, shortness of breath, worsening of asthma, accelerated heart rate, low blood pressure, severe shock).
• Severe forms of skin reactions including rash, itching, hives, redness, blistering and peeling of the skin (Stevens Johnson syndrome).
• Fluid retention e.g. swollen ankles (this may be a sign of kidney problems).
• Yellowing of the eyes and/or skin (jaundice). This may be a sign of liver problems.

Each capsule contains 200mg ibuprofen.

Also contains: Brilliant blue (E133); Allura Red (E129) (may cause allergic reactions), sorbitol; Hard Fat and glycerol monolinoleate which are lipids.
